Cumberland University is a private liberal arts college located in Lebanon, Tennessee. It was founded in 1842 by the Cumberland Presbyterian Church. It holds a unique place in American history as one of the oldest liberal art universities in the South.
The Cumberland University Digital Archives contains digitized copies of Cumberland University's student newspapers, photographs, portraits, and other remarkable pieces of our history.
Funding for some of our digital collections have been provided by the National Historical Publications & Records Commission, and the Tennessee State Library and Archives.
